The latest of our occasional series of Thursday SH3 + HH3 dining and drinking evenings will take place tomorrow, Thursday, July 18, from around 7 pm. at The Basil. You can read the rave reviews here but don't believe their map. It's on Punnakan Soi 2, which not surprisingly is the second road on the right after you turn onto Punnakan Rd. from Route 4, the main road through Hatyai (or as you Songkhla people quaintly call it, the "Old Hatyai Road"). If you get to the back gate of the uni you've gone way too far, unless of course you've come down Punnakan from the Songkhla direction, in which case you haven't gone far enough. Anyhow, come, eat, drink, and be merry. After all, it'll be almost 48 hours till the next party.
