Our stuff finds a home

Ever since the demise of the fondly remembered Parlang Bar some years ago, our Hash Stuff (ice boxes, signs, whiteboard etc.) has wandered around town like a drunken off-duty rigger. But now, with any luck, we seem to have found another good home for it, and -- more importantly -- a strategic point for the departure of the Beer Truck every Saturday afternoon.* It's the Bai Meang Vietnamese restaurant/beer garden on Sadao Rd., more or less across from the Governor's House.

The above photo shows the attractive gated cubicle where you'll find everything you need to become an award-winning SH3 hare. Or, if you're not that ambitious, at least check the whiteboard where you may even find misdirections to the next run. And while you're there, be sure to order up some of the rather excellent food and the cheap cold beer. We're delighted to have Bai Meang help sponsor our hash, and we'll try to reward them with our business.

*You do know that we offer FREE TRANSPORT to every run at 3 pm. (3:30 pm. in the non-cool season) on Saturday? Just show up, maybe help Bung toss a few slabs of beer into the eskie, and then enjoy the ride out to another unforgettable run, or walk, or whatever you want to do.

  1. Shouldn't the title of this post be changed so that it appears at the top of the list of posts? At the moment the last change of location appears as the second post, so anyone visiting the blog on spec to find out where to go to join a run will still end up at the Hot Bread Shop.

  2. I've partially fixed that by changing the label on the old post so it doesn't appear at the top. But it would be a good idea to put a 1 in front of the label title so that it always appears on top of the list.

  3. Done. I also appended an update onto the previous beer truck location post.

  4. Hmmmm... I think you need to change the label, not the title of the post as at the moment it's the bottom item on the list, whereas we should really have it at the top.
