Why doesn't the beer truck driver ever set a run? And other pointless questions.

Hot off the press, some provisional statistics for 2015 showing the top 40 or so runners by number of runs attended and all the people who have set runs so far this year.

Based on the total number of runs attended and the number of hares laying them, the figure to reach this year to date is 6.88% (i.e. the percentage of runs you have laid against the runs you have attended. 23 people have managed it; a lot haven't.

But don't forget, there are still 6 runs left this year for which we don't have hares, commencing with this coming weekend. So c'mon guys, you know who you are! Volunteer today and set a couple of runs before the year's out!

  1. As has been pointed out to me, the list above does not equate people on the same number of runs/same number of lays in the upper halves of the tables and the orders as presently shown for people with the same number of runs/lays reflect hash number in the number of runs table, and number of runs in the number of hares table. I agree that this is not really fair and it will be remedied later to ensure an equitable representation of all of our efforts on behalf of the hash!

  2. I tried to understand that comment but ended up jumping out of a window screaming.

  3. Most issues now resolved, but runs this year still ordered by hash number in the event of equivalence. My thanks to an anonymous reviewer for his/her helpful comments.
