An early morning inspection of the route to Sunday's runsite has detected some similarly unpleasant road conditions on the final 100 meters of the track leading to Hatyai H3's runsite on Sunday - nothing to cause any problems to drivers of real men's vehicles but owners of vehicles with low ground clearance my feel automotively challenged. Therefore above is a suggested alternative route (marked in yellow) which avoids the worst of the problems. Anyone in a pick up or with reasonable ground clearance should follow the standard route (in red).

What a warm wonderful person you are, I hope you have cut back the thorn bushes and swept the trails on the run too?
ReplyDeleteEverybody, have a great day and in 2014 may you stay on paper, break all the checks......and learn that shortcutting is actually the pinnacle of hashing!!

Gan Yao, just to clarify that not all hares are getting wimpy, I didn't to anything to improve the access to my runsite tomorrow. I just moved the whole thing 300m closer to the main road. And no thorns were trimmed or brush cleared. It will be the raw, painful, full-on experience that you expect from a Saturday afternoon in Songkhla. Then, and only then, can everyone change into their party dresses and go on Sunday's gentle romp.
ReplyDeleteBeavershot, may your nose be forever wet and shiny and your tail hit the water with a noise to rent the heavens!
ReplyDeleteI was in no way implying that our hares are becoming wimpy, in fact I cannot think of a more inappropriate term for Kii Leum for example, (although the choice of adjectives that spring to,mind is huge).
I was merely expressing the wish that hares take into account the ageing nature of our members. By this I mean that future hares should ensure wheelchair access to all runsites, uphill sections should have ramps and long downhill slopes have gravel emergency braking lanes.
If any offence was given, please give it back before the dogs get out
