Pussy Galore

Variously measured at between 7.2 and 8k, the official track was 7.4k if you managed to avoid the 6 F's (not marked) and didn't search too hard at the 9 (count them!) 360's. First runner in was Sex Sprinter in 58 minutes with Beaver clocking 1hr 1 min and most of the rest of those who stayed on paper a few minutes later. Only one runner completed the whole short run which cut off at the 4th check and rejoined the long run at the dog-leg just before the 8th check. The rest managed to short cut.
Take a good look at the countryside, 'cos we'll be back here again next week for a relay hare run since no one has volunteered to fill the hare's job next week, nor for the full moon run which has now been postponed until July.

    I noticed a rather shocking tendency today for the front-runners to stay on paper. Obviously these pussy hares get a respect that the rest of us don't.

    P.S. Handjob gained more than 2kg over the course of the day. Whatever else they did, the hares did some serious eating.

    It obviously did OaY no harm, as did not the "three" beers she drank, as she turned in a very respectable 1hr 22 mins for the 10.5k run at the autistic school this morning.

      Less than that.. but there's something smacking of injustice that after 6 months of serious effort, the difference is only 9 minutes and that the difference is less than that between Egghead and Peewee who posted 1hr and 2 mins due to both effort and ....age! Damn it!
