The classic "Dungbeetle Goes on Holiday" issue of the Scum, April 2006. Just one of the countless historical treasures you'll find at our OneDrive link. |
Most of us these days get our SH3 run info via either the mailing list (if you’re not on it just contact Eightball: dave [dot] kohyoh [at sign] gmail [dot] com) or else Facebook (Songkhla Hash House Harriers SH3). There’s also a very active Messenger group, which you can join even without being on Facebook.
But until Blogspot kicks us off, we’ll leave this site up. There’s a huge amount of amusing old material here, from rehashes and GPS trails to photos and plenty of great comments. Most of the content came from Egghead, and I at least almost always smile when I read it.
If that’s not enough nostalgia for you, check out our archive of scanned SH3 artifacts, from the very start in 1981 to the last issues of The Scum (the original printed one) in the mid-2000s. Egghead, Yardstick and I finished the scanning work only a couple weeks ago, which in retrospect feels very lucky indeed. You'll find it here: https://1drv [dot] ms/f/s!Ane2JCUNbOQ-iF42EAIG3Zza41qo
*And so here for the record are the misdirections for last Saturday, 25 July 2020. Don’t go there this week!

ReplyDeleteI just updated the committee listing (over there --> ) and am impressed how many people have stepped up to help.
ReplyDeleteWas looking for some old 'The Scum' issues. FYI, link above only links to some public admin type pages. Can the scanned Scums be accessed online?
