On Saturday, just a couple hours after we were proving our geezerly athletic prowess on Egghead's challenging Napong run, a fellow called Alex Honnold did something even more impressive. It's already being called the greatest rock climbing feat in history. Read about it and see photos here.

Thanks for that. Truly amazing. And without a beer stop! If you haven't seen it check out "Meru", also filmed by Jimmy Chin. I have an excellent copy if you wish. In-U-Endo
ReplyDeleteJimmy Chin is almost as amazing in his own way as Honnold. He does those climbs too except he's filming the whole way. This is going to be a great movie when it comes out.
ReplyDeleteCome on Beaver, even the movie will be too scary for you, ......and me!!
ReplyDeleteIt's true, I get nervous even watching free soloing. But if you want real terror, try this.
ReplyDeleteHonnold on 60 minutes. Look at his eyes- obviously a cyborg.
