Short Screw gives us some length

A big long one yesterday from Short Screw: 9.78km on my GPS, though that includes just about every false trail and checkback. I had total ascent at 320m, but my watch always reads a bit low on that, so call it 350m. Everyone except Egghead got back within a couple minutes of 1:44. Even apart from the fact that it left Egghead wandering in the wilderness and almost caused an off-paper Sex Sprinter to miss the beer stop, this was a great run, certainly the best so far this year. Encore, please, Mr. Screw!

As the hashing center for Thailand's Deep South, the Songkhla region offers three different hashing experiences: Songkhla Hash, every Saturday; Hatyai Hash, every Sunday; and Hatyai Full Moon Hash, which runs the night of every full moon or thereabouts. Misdirections to each weekend's runs usually appear here by Thursday or so.

Thanks for the track. I actually feel a sense of achievement when a senior hasher gets 'stuck in the shiggy' so to speak and specifically warned the Sprinter about deviating on the way down for fear of missing the beer. All good fun! :)
