Now where was that runsite again, again.

This week's SH3 (run #1693) hares, Kii Leum and Buck are currently incommunicado, which is good news as it probably means that with the rain having let up for the first time since the full moon run, they have been able to go out for a recce.
So all being well, this Saturday (23rd November 2013we will,  be paying a swift return to the runsite that we had such a lot of trouble getting back to a month or so ago, which can be reached:

From the Ko Yo intersection take the old Hatyai road for 4.6k  and turn left for 10.7k  (2.9k past Wat Khao Kloi) and turn left for 2.9k going about 500m beyond the end of the bitumen to the runsite.

HH3 will be returning to Poonakan again this Sunday (24th November 2013). The run site is near Rong Rien Tungnai: look for a sign about 5.5k beyond Wat Khao Kloi on the right. The hares are Robocop and Sex Racing.

Upcoming attraction: as shown above, the Hatyai 666 run will be an outstation run in Phattalung on the weekend of the 14th and 15th December. If there is sufficient interest at SH3 we will probably cancel our run that weekend in favour of the HH3 event which will include a car rally and a run on Saturday with a party in the evening and Kayaking on Sunday morning. The price is 250 Baht (kids, 150 Baht) or 850 Baht for guests and returners. The price includes basic (i.e. shared) accommodation - anyone wanting an individual room can get one at a resort close to the venue but at their own cost, or take a tent!

  1. When Khii Leum is incommunicado while supposedly scouting a run it's never good news.

  2. Thereby hangs a tale. Kii Leum was in fact sleeping when I called him in the morning, but when I finally managed to contact him about lunchtime he was preparing to leave on a recce (despite the fact that it was by then raining again).
An hour later I received a call from KL asking me if I could explain where the runsite was as he couldn't find it.... where was that runsite again, again, again?

  3. What did poor Buck do to deserve this?
