Beaver Sex Toy

No! No! No! Not that kind of beaver sex toy! This week's hares, Beaverslut, Sex Boy and Buk Sprinter... or something like that.

As advertised last week this will be a three-run weekend culminating in a camp-out on the hill above Prem's place. Perversely, the Songkhla run is in Hatyai and the Hatyai run on Sunday is in Songkhla! Saturday's SH3 run is:

Hare: Beavershot
Misdirections: From the Ko Yo intersection take the old Hatyai road for 4.7k and turn left for 8k then right for about 3k to the run site on the left

Sunday's HH3  and HFMH3 runs are both being set by Toy Boy and Sex Printer and will be from a site above Prem's place: From the Ko Yo Intersection take the new Yala road for 800 meters and turn left. Follow the road for about 1k, going up the hill to the right before the National Library car park. Then follow the road round to the left behind the Home of Faith up the hill for another kilometer or so to the run site.
The HH3 run/circle will proceed as normal although without the usual feeding frenzy in between. After the HH3 circle those who are still able can do the HFMH3 run following which dinner will be served accompanied by modest amounts of free beer. Contributions of food, beer and other intoxicants would however be much appreciated.  Registration for each run will be 50 Baht,or a special offer price of 100 Baht for both.

KY's worst nightmare

It has all the hallmarks: the apparently random route, the sudden changes of direction, the in and out trails perilously close. It has KY written all over it; except that this was not Sunday's comparatively well-organised HH3 run, but Stick Insect's 999th on Saturday. The GPS that never lies records it as 7.5k but that includes the short run diversion which cut out the "hill" that never quite lived up to its billing. The apres run included a BBQ washed down with a couple of bottles of Aborigine's Armpit or whatever the bubbly stuff was called, as well as free birthday beer and a circle that featured a flying birthday cake.
So it's on-on to the 1000th next Saturday, and a Sunday HH3/HHFM3 double run at Prem's place with a camp out to follow. Like the man said: three times the fun!

999 stick insects

Go on count them!
Saturday is a day of almosts: it's almost Stick Insect's birthday (that's actually today), it's almost his 1000th run (that will come next week), he's almost 60 (that will happen next year) and the run is almost at the water tower at Napong (see below).

Misdirections: From the Ko Yo intersection take the old Hatyai road for 4k and turn left for 6.5k then left for 100 meters to the run site on the left just short of the water tower.

For anyone who is not sure about the location (and there are some people who have had difficulty in finding similarly located runs before - Danny, you know who we're talking about!), here is a map!

Sunday's HH3 run is at Sala Hin Kiang (Old Hatyai road, 4.7k, turn left for 6k, turn left for 1.5k, turn right for 500meters; or from Hatyai take the right turn at the Nam Noi traffic lights and go 8.5k then turn right for 500m) and will be set by Nicheow and Vaseline... who's reformed and is really a very stable guy these days who doesn't just go wandering off into the countryside with a bag of paper...any more!

The Online Scum is pleased to announce our newest contributor, the esteemed senior SH3 hasher "Yardstick". After carefully considering his options for almost three years, Yardo has finally realized that becoming a full-fledged part of the TOS team promises to enrich his life beyond imagination.

By "contributor", we mean not money but posts on this blog. You can find out if you're already one by scrolling down to the "Contributors" column on the right side of this page. If you're there, you can post anything you like, including text, photos, videos, etc., any time you like, simply by clicking on the Thai text at the far top right of the screen. We notice that several of you have never even tried this, while a few others have posted a bit but have recently become inactive. Come on, help Egghead and me out here.

#1614: Another look

1616: Nice short run!

...shame about the last check, which was an object lesson in how to make things just a little bit too difficult. The result was that by the time the sweeping hare had swept the 'slower portion of the pack' (who shall remain anonymous) up to it, Sex Sprinter and Solong having led the pack round, had given up and headed down the hill leaving Stick Insect to romp home on his own and SS and S to come home the long way round by road. Still, it'll make a nice run in the opposite direction at some time in the future when memories have become fuzzy.

HH3 20th May 2012

As expected, a helpful map from those nice people at HH3 with the run site being at the back of Macro as anticipated although the hare has mysteriously metamorphosed into Sex Star.

SH3 Run #1616: runsite revised

Minor change to the run site announced last week as our normal run site has been turned into the village rubbish tip. The details remain, however:

SH3 run #1616, Saturday 19th May 2012, 4:30 p.m.

Hare: Egghead

Misdirections: From the Kao Saeng intersection take the old Yala road for 11k and turn right for 3.2k (going straight ahead at the crossroads at 2.2k) to the runsite on the left about 100 meters past the lake. 

Anyone coming from Hatyai should turn right at the Nam Noi traffic lights and go 12k (through Ban Ta Kham and past the Sai Kao Resort), then turn left into the road heading up Kao Ron. After 600m bear right away from Kao Ron, go on for another 600m through the village and the run site is on the right just before the lake. 

HH3 on Sunday is somewhere in the vicinity of Macro which is about 20k down the old Hatyai road beyond the Ko Yo int. Look for a sign on the left or pray for a map to materialise which will be posted here if it does. Hare seems likely to be Sex Printer to make up for his fishy absence last week.

Mmmmm! Good pussy!

Good run today, enjoyed by slightly more hounds than hares. Even Stick Insect could only bring himself to criticise his lone downhill quest to find the 4th F (which for technical reasons doesn't appear on the graphic above) and Gan Yao, though never gushing about these things seemed to have not completely found the walk unenjoyable. Ah come on! it was great!

Serious pussy

As a sign that things are getting back to normal (normal?) SH3 proudly presents a pussy run this Saturday with the gentler gender having its way. Details are:

Misdirections: From the Ko Yo intersection take the new Yala road for 3.5k to the run site on the left.

Sunday's Hatyai outing is a Nicheow Poonakan affair. No precise distances are available beyond taking the old Hatyai road for 4.7k, turning left and going 8k then turning right, but the run site will be somewhere on the left, possibly as early as 4k from Wat Keow Kloy, but don't be surprised if the sign doesn't appear until nearer 9k!
